The Land Walls of Constantinople

My take on the land walls of Constantinople (The Theodosian Walls) from above. These land walls built in 5th century have protected Constantinople, the imperial capital of the Byzantine Empire countless times for centuries. Only in 1453 was it only breached with the use of the cannon by the Ottomans. As you see here, the walls include 3 layers first a moat and other wall, a second lower wall, and the main wall structure which includes up to 92 towers. The land walls of Constantinople stretch for some 5.5km from the Marmara Sea to the Golden Horn. This here is my rendition of Constantinople's walls all drawn and colored by hand using colored pencils.
